About

Gordon Brown is a Scottish crime writer whose novel, Falling, launched in paperback in June 2009 and whose second novel, 59 minutes, launched in September 2010

Here’s what some of the critics are saying about the Falling:

‘Brown keeps a firm, skilful grip on his material in what turns out to be a very promising debut novel.’

The Herald

‘Chaos reigns as the plot comes thick and fast in this thriller told from alternating perspectives of a brilliantly drawn cast of characters. If Guy Richie is looking for his next hit crime caper, he could do worse.’

Daily Record

…and for 59 Minutes:

‘Heavy on the action, light on law-abiding citizens this explosive tale of violence and villainy packs a mighty punch.’
